The company is also recognised for its international work, including the provision of training, consultancy and focus visits to the Government of Gibraltar Department of Education and Training, its professional development programmes for the National Association of British Schools in Spain and the Government of Hong Kong.

Eclipse's core business in recent years has been the provision of Ofsted inspections across all phases of education.   Focusing successfully on the northern market place, well networked and frequently used as a sounding board for Ofsted, the business has gained a first class reputation for delivery, underpinned by its strategy of developing a high quality pool of experienced consultants and inspectors.   Changes in the delivery mechanisms for inspection in 2005 provided the opportunity for a strategic development in Eclipse with a conscious shift from front-line inspection delivery to a bespoke education consultancy supporting the national agenda for School Improvement and Transformational Education.
